As with any large undertaking – these types of swims require an enormous amount of preparation before they can be attempted successfully.

While my main focus is to raise money to help FARA, I also need to pay the other, lesser fees (you know like registration, transportation, room and board, etc. etc…. the minor details).

In addition to those little pieces, I also need swimsuits, goggles, wetsuits, caps, and other equipment I use to train and race in.

These things add up quickly, and while I wish I could send all the money right on down to FARA headquarters, I need to pay the bills (so to speak) in order to keep this great thing going . . .

So, with the nitty gritty out of the way, I would like to take a moment to thank the generous sponsors that have helped to finance and fuel my passions – OWS and FARA.

*If you or someone you know is interested in helping with Kristin’s personal finances towards funding one of her OWS. Please contact her at kjjones907@gmail.com. She will gladly give you anymore information about where the money will help.

My 2014 Sponsors:

Gerrald  & Susan Ladhoff – Thank you for contributing to not only my college education, but now to my post-graduate swimming endeavors. Seeing you around and knowing I have your support and belief means the world to me. I truly appreciate your spirit of giving, thank you both.

The world is swimming faster in blueseventy.

A big thank you to Elgee Rehfeld and Mertz for helping me get organized and for putting a good word out for me.

This club has not only given me the greatest chances for success in life as an age-group swimmer, but has continued to support my coaching and athletic aspirations well into my 20's. Now THAT is the kind of club you want your young (or old) swimmer to be involved in . . . teaching lifelong lessons. Thank you a million times over.
